Pani Puri Spicy Water
Ingredients
½ cup Chopped Hara Dhania2 cup Chopped Phudina
5 Clove Garlic Crushed
1 tsp Ginger Grated
3 nos Green Chillies Paste
½ cup Tamarind & Date Paste
½ tsp Jeera Powder
1 Lemon Juice
2 tblsp Pani Puri Masala
Salt to Taste
Black Salt to Taste
Sugar as per Taste
Chilled Ice Water
Method
Blend hara dhania, phudina, garlic, ginger and chillies in smooth paste.
In a large pitcher, jug or a matka, fill about 1½ litre of chilled water. Add all the paste in this water and shake well. Strain this water in a thin mesh strainer. Squeeze the paste fibres thoroughly and discard it.
Transfer the strained water once again in the pitcher and add T&D paste, pani puri masalas, lemon juice, salt, black salt, sugar and stir well. The taste should be pungent and the flavour of mint should be strong.
If you like mild taste you can adjust it with chilled water accordingly. Enjoy.
Note: The spiciness and phudina can be adjust according to the individual taste.
Adding some Crispy Fried Besan Drops in the Spicy Mint Water can enhance the taste.
