Chukka Coconut Chicken

Ingredients

500 gms Cleaned and Washed Chicken Pieces
1/2 cup Freshly Grated Coconut

For Marination

2 tblsp G/G/GC Paste
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Haldi Powder
1/2 tsp Sauf Powder
1/2 tsp Jeera Powder
1/2 tsp Dhania Powder
1 no Lemon Juice
3 tblsp Coconut Oil

For Tadka

1 tsp Rai (Mustard Seeds)
2 sprg Curry Leaves
4-5 no Whole Green Chillies
4 tblsp Coconut Oil


Method

Take chicken pieces in a mixing bowl and add all the marination masalas along with coconut oil and mix well. Keep it aside for 3 to 4 hours for marination.

Heat coconut oil in a deep frying kadhai and add whole green chillies, as the green chillies splutters add rai, curry leaves and saute for few seconds.

Now add marinated chicken pieces with complete masala and stir cook for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of water and stir once again. Add freshly grated coconut and mix well. Add once more little water and stir cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and masala properly roasted.


Serve with Malbari paratha. Enjoy!!
