Falafel
Ingredients:
500 gms Chickpeas
1 Bunch Kothmir Chopped
½ cup Garlic crushed
2 no. Large onion
2 tblsp Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
3 tsp Dhania Powder
Salt & Pepper per Taste
Oil - For Deep Frying
1 Bunch Kothmir Chopped

Method
Soak the chickpeas in water in overnight. Next day drain, rinse and dry the chickpeas. Put the chickpeas in a food processor and run until they reach a thick smooth consistency. Pour it in a large mixing bowl, add garlic, finely chopped onions, parsley, kothmir, masalas, seasoning, baking soda and flour. Mxing thoroughly for a couple of minutes until they reach a doughy texture. Taste the Falafel mix to make sure it has a balanced flavor. Let it rest for few minutes before frying.
Heat oil in a large deep frying pan on medium heat. Scoop the falafel into by using a ice cream scoop. Fry for a few minutes until the falafel turns brownish then remove them in a colander and to dry out the extra oil.
GarNICHE tahini Sauce and serve Falafel with it or you can make Falafel sanwich with Pita Bread.
