Italian Chana Bateta
Ingredients
2 cup Kabuli Chana Boiled (You can used Caned ones too)250 gms Baby Potatoes
2 cups Basic Pizza Pasta Sauce (Click Here for Recipe)
For Topping
2 nos Tomato Slices
½ cup Chopped Capsicum
Grated Mozzarella Cheese
For Seasoning
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Chillie Flakes
2 tsp Italian Dry Herbs
Salt as Per Taste
Oil for Frying
Method
STEP 1
Wash potatoes thoroughly and dry them on a kitchen towel. Chop into halves with skin. Fry these potatoes to crispy light golden brown. Remove and keep it aside.STEP 2
If you are using canned chickpeas, remove it in a colander and rinse it with hot water. Drain and keep it aside.STEP 3
Take microwave proof serving bowl and add few fried potatoes, then chana and 1 or 2 tblsp basic pizza sauce, sprinkle some seasoning and mix well.Layer some chopped capsicum, tomato slice. Sprinkle seasoning.
And if we use soaked chana ?
