Chef Juzer: I was born in Devlali, Nashik, and raised in the vibrant lanes of Mumbai. My love for cooking began at age 7, helping my mother in a kitchen where aromas and memories came alive. In my 30s, I opened a restaurant in Devlali, blending tradition with modern flair. Though I explored global cuisines, my heart always returned to the flavors of home. I realized our Bohra culinary heritage—the thaal, the sweet-savory harmony, the phrase “Jamjo ane Jamarjo”—was fading. I began sharing recipes online, and the warm response reaffirmed our food’s deep meaning. One day, my son, a chef himself, asked, “Can you give me your legacy?” That moment sparked this blog. Jamjo ane Jamarjo is more than recipes—it’s a gift to my sons, a tribute to my mother and grandmothers, and a celebration of our culture.
