Upma

Ingredients

2 cups Rava
2 nos Large Onion Finely Chopped
4 nos Green Chillies
1 tsp Ginger
½ tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Urad Dal
4 tsp Butter
1 tsp Coconut Oil
4 cups Boiled Water
Salt as per Taste
Few Curry Leaves

Method

Heat coconut oil in a sauce pan and add 2 tsp butter to it. Temper the mustard seeds and urad dal. Add chopped onions, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, curry leaves and saute it well. When the onions become brown add the rava to it and fry it, till it becomes light brown. Add boiled water to the fried rava little by little, stirring the water thoroughly. When it becomes soft stop the adding water and add salt as per taste.
Cover the pan and simmer the heat. Let the rava cook until it is soft and thick for about 10 minutes. Uncover the pan and add more butter and stir well.

GarNICHE with Fresh finely chopped coriander leaves and lemon slice. Enjoy!! Breakfast
