Thin Pan Crust Pizza
Ingredients
4 nos Ready made Pizza Base (Available mostly in Bakery)
2 cup BasicPizza Sauce
1 cup Minced Chicken Raw
2 nos. Capsicum Sliced
1 cup Cooked Mushroom Sliced (Optional)
1 cup Pitted Olives Sliced (Pitted means seeds removed)
Red Chilli Flakes as per your taste.
Oregano for seasoning.
Salt and Pepper for seasoning too.
Few Pineapple slices (Optional)
Grated mozzarella Cheese as much as you like.
Grated Cheddar Cheese as much as you like.
Some oil for brushing and cooking.
If you love making pizza at home and do not have oven (even if you have) I would suggest buy a CAST IRON PAN with lid.
For Vegetarians you can replace the minced chicken with grated or chopped veggies, Minced Paneer or cooked soya granules.Method
Place pizza base on a chopping board and with a sharp bread knife slice off the top of the pizza bread. You can scrape of the top with hand too but the base will be uneven. Once you have sliced off the bread, flip the base and brush some oil on the bottom of the base and flip it again. Do this with all the other pizza base and keep it aside.
Heat a sauce pan and add 2 tblsp oil. Add minced chicken and saute for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and dry. Once the chicken is cooked add some salt and pepper for taste. Keep it aside and let it cool.
Preheat cast iron pan covered on medium flame until you prepare the pizza for baking.
Before we prepare pizza, you shall need a thick cardboard slightly bigger than the pizza base. Place this cardboard on the chopping board and on it place the pizza base.
Spread basic pizza sauce generously and evenly on the top of the base. Take a scoop full of cooked minced chicken and spread evenly on the sauce. Sprinkle some red chilli flakes, oregano. Layer grated cheese as generously as you can on the chicken spread. Now arrange sliced capsicum evenly, mushroom if you are using it, sliced olives. Sprinkle salt and pepper if needed and pat the toppings to firm it in the cheese.
Carefully pick up the cardboard and slid the pizza in the pan. Cover the pan with the lid and let the pizza bake for 8 to 10 minutes on medium heat.
Uncover the pan and slightly pick up the pizza and check if the crust is crispy brown. If done, remove on the chopping board and slice the pizza to enjoy a feast.
