Hare Tamatar ki Murg


Ingredients

500         gms      Chicken Pieces
½            tsp       Turmeric Powder
1             tsp       Chili Powder
2             tsp       Dhania Powder
2             cups     Green Onions Chopped
2             cups     Green Tomatoes Chopped
1             cup      Onions Finely Chopped
1             tblsp    Garlic Paste
½            tblsp    Minced Ginger
½            tblsp    Green Chilli Paste
1             bnch    Hara Dhania Cleaned Leaves
½            cup      Lemon Juice
½            tsp       Jeera Powder
1             cup      Coconut Cream
Few Curry Leaves
Oil as per need
Salt-to taste

Method

Clean chicken and marinate with 1 tblsp oil, 1 tblsp lemon juice, little chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Keep it aside for few hours. Blend green onions, tomatoes and hara dhania into semi smooth paste. Remove the paste in a bowl and keep it aside.
Heat a sauce pot, add 4 tblsp oil and add curry leaves. Add onions and saute onions until soft and translucent. Add jeera powder, haldi, red chilli, G/G Green chilli and stir this mixture until oil separates. Add chicken and tamatar mixture and mix well. Add salt to taste and cover to cook the chicken on a medium heat.
After about 10 minutes uncover the lid and check if the chicken is cooked, if the gravy is thicken add dhania powder, stir in the cococut cream, add lemon juice and adjust the seasoning.
GarNICHE with fresh cream and serve with Parathas.
