Steamed Fish
Ingredients
1 Whole Fish
4 tblsp Oil
½ cup Ginger Julienne
1 cup Green Onions Pods Sliced
1 cup Green Scallion Julienne
6 tblsp Palm Vinegar
3 tblsp Soy Sauce
½ tsp Brown Sugar
1 tblsp Thick Green Chillies Julienne
Hara Dhania Chopped
Salt, to taste
Method
Wash the fish with water, and dry with a paper towel. With a sharp knife make 2 to 3 slits diagonally on the both side of the fish deep enough to reach the bones. Rub salt and oil on the both side of fish and keep it aside for an hour.
In a deep oven-safe platter place the fish. In a mixing bowl mix all the ingredients saving some of the julienne for GarNICHEing. Pour all the mixture over the fish and wrap the entire dish with a foil paper and bake at 400ºF for about 15 minutes.
Remove the dish and uncover the foil turn the fish carefully and again wrap the dish and bake it for another 15 minutes or until cooked. Remove the fish in a platter and pour the steamed sauce all over it and...Serve.
