Kheema Bhara Pulao Pettice

Ingredients

3 cups Leftover Veg or Non Veg Pulao or Khichdi
250 gms Mince Meat (Washed and Drained)
2 no Onions, finely Chopped
½ cup Frozen Peas
1 tsp Chilli Powder
½ tsp Haldi Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 Lemon Juice
½ cup Finely Chopped Coriander leaves
1½ cup Maida
4 nos Eggs
1 cup Thick Bread Crumbs
Salt as per taste
Oil for Frying

Method

Heat a kadhai on a medium heat and add kheema, frozen peas, dry masalas, salt as per taste and sauté until cooked. Remove and keep it aside for cooling. Once cooled add onions, coriander, lemon juice and mix well.
In a mixing bowl add cooked pulao. If using non veg pulao make sure the meat pieces are boneless. Add ½ cup of maida in the pualo, 1 egg and mix well. Knead the mixture thoroughly and divide it into medium portions balls. Keep it aside.

Place maida in a flat dish, bread crumbs in another dish and whisk eggs in a bowl and keep ready.

Take a portion of the rice ball and flatten it in your palm. Fill one large scoop of minced cooked meat in the centre and fold the rice ball again sealing and stuffing evenly. Roll the stuff rice ball in the maida, then dip it into the egg and then roll it again in the bread crumbs. Complete all the rice balls similarly.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry these balls evenly to crispy golden brown. Enjoy!!
