Hawaiian Squash
Ingredients
200 gms Pearu (Guavas, Red)
200 gms Pineapple Slices
1 gls Lychee Juice
100 gms Sugar
2 Pinch of Cinnamon Powder
Crushed Black Pepper
Chopped Phudina
Salt to Taste
Crushed Ice
Method
Chop guavas into bite size pieces. Chop pineapples too.
Heat a non stick frying pan and add all these fruits pieces and roast till lightly brown. Add sugar and stir to caramelise the fruits.
Once the fruits are caramelised, remove from heat and let it cool.
In a juice blender, add caramelised fruits, along with crushed ice and all the other ingredients as per taste, except lychee juice. Blend it to a smooth juice.
In a tall glass pour in ¾ of the glass of blended juice. On top of it pour slowly chilled lychee juice.
GarNICHE with a slice of pineapple and serve chilled.
