Egg & Corn Frankies
Ingredients
For Frankie Filler
1 cup Sweet Corn Kernels Boiled2 nos. Eggs
½ cup Green Onions Chop’d
½ cup Tomatoes Chopped
1 tblsp Garlic Minced
Salt to Taste
For Frankie Sheets
1 cup Wheat Flour½ cup Maida
1 no Egg
Salt to Taste
Oil for Shallow Frying
Method
Blend coarsely corn kernels. In a large bowl mix these blended corn with all the ingredients and whisk well.
In
another bowl mix all the frankie sheets ingredients and knead well. Add
water if needed for kneading it. Once the dough is kneaded, brush some
oil in your hand and massage the dough and keep it aside for few
minutes.
Take
a big portion of the dough and make a nice round chapatti. Spoon some
portion of filler in middle of the chapatti and roll the frankies as
shown in the figure, tightly. Fry this frankies in a shallow pan on a
medium heat, crispy golden.
Serve these frankies with choice of dips or sauces to your kids. Happy Kid Meal!
