Basic Stock

Stock is the basic ingredient for many recipes. Basic Stock Ingredients is as follows:



Base Additives Flavouring
Water Any Meat / Bones Garlic Ginger
Buttermilk Vegetables Green chillies
Milk Pulses/Rice Salt/Pepper

Greens Herbs Spices

Method

Wash, clean, chop any additives and take it in a stock pot. Add enough base as much as double the quantity of the additives. Do not use flavoring initially in making of your stock unless you may use it for any particular recipe. lf you need to flavor your stock add favoring accordingly, or as per need of the recipe.
Brew the stock until the additive is cooked. If you are using meat or veggie drain the stock and remove the additives. Preserve the stock in fridge and use it when ever required.
If you are using any pulses or rice and making stock, do not cook thoroughly. Just boil simply till its half done and drain the stock.

Note: You can freeze the Stock for more than a week in a chiller.
