White Sauce

Ingredients

50 gms Maida
2 tblsp Garlic Minced
1 Green Chilli Minced
75 gms Butter
150 ml Fresh Milk
Freshly Crushed Black Pepper
Chicken or Veg Stock as per Need
Salt to Taste

Method

Melt the butter in a sauce pan, and gently fry the green chilli and garlic. Add in flour and stir it vigorously so that the flour does not stick or burn at the base. As the flour shines, pour milk in stream little by little so that lumps are not formed. Pour in about 1 cup of stock in similar manner and keep stirring until the sauce is creamier and smooth. if the sauce is thick, you can add more stock. Add in crushed black pepper, salt as per taste. Tips:

Garniche this sauce on any Mixed Steam Veggies or Boiled Chicken. You can grate cheese in the sauce and make it more rich.
