Veg Crunchy Seekh Kebabs
Ingredients
1 cup Moong Dal1 cup Chana Dal
2 tblsp G/G Paste
1 tblsp Chopped Green Chillies
2 no. Onions Finely Chopped
1 cup Carrot Grated
1 cup Cabbage Grated
2 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Haldi Powder
½ cup Soya Granulles Soaked
1 cup Bread Crumbs
2 no. Lime Juice
1 cup Chopped Kothmir
Salt & Chat Masala to Taste
Oil for frying
Method
Soak the dals Overnight. After the dals softens remove the soaked water and add 1 cup fresh water and pressure cook it for 3 to 5 minutes only.Meanwhile squeeze of excess water from the grated vegetables, and soya granulles in a muslin cloth. Let the dal cool down. Mix the dal in a blender into a dough mix. Once the dal is like a smooth dough remove it in a large mixing bowl and add grated veggies, soya granulles and other ingredients to it and mix well. Season it perfectly.
Make medium size balls of the mix dough. Wet your palm and make a large tight ball. Shape it like small seekh on your palm. Once a shape is developed place it on a chopping board and roll it with your palm to a perfect big seekh. Once all seekh are done brush some oil on it. On flat non stick tava fry kebabs as crispy as you like.
Serve in a bread roll... GarNICHE with choice of Chutney and Sauce.
