Tava Fried Lamb Chops
Ingredients
500 gms Lamb Chops
2 tblsp G/G/GC Paste
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Haldi Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Dhania Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Tandoori Masala
Powder
½ tsp Amchur Powder
Salt as per Taste
½ cup Mustard Oil
1 Lemon Juice
Method
Mix all dry masala
powders in a bowl and divide it into two portions equally. Wash lamb chops and
transfer it in a mixing bowl. Add ¼ cup of mustard oil, one portion of dry
masala powder, salt as per taste, 1 cup of water and mix well. Keep aside these
chops to marinate for about 4 hours.
Heat a non stick pan on a
medium low heat. Arrange the chops flat side down pouring all the marination over
it. Cover and let it cook on low heat for about 15 to 18 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a bowl mix
the left over mustard oil, dry masala, lemon juice, salt as per taste and mix
well. Keep it aside.
Uncover the pan and let
the heat subside. With a tong turn each chops carefully. Add in the other marination
and cover the pan. Let it cook for another 5 minutes. Once done, heat a flat non
stick tava on high heat. Remove chops from the pan with a tong and grill it on
tava evenly until roasted from both sides.
Serve these chops with
chilled yogurt and onions. Enjoy!!
