Noodle Basket

Ingredients

For Frying Noodles

2    pkts    Noodles
Oil for Deep Frying

Warning: Do not use shallow kadai usually used for other frying purpose or the oil will split outside.

Note: To fry only noodles, place noodles in one strainer and deep fry similar way.

Method

Fill half of the sauce pot fryer with oil and heat it for frying.
Boil noodles until soft and strain. Spray little oil on noodles and toss it so that it does not stick. Keep it aside to cool completely.
Take 2 strainers as shown in picture on left. In the bottom strainer place a handfull of noodles and arranging it to form a basket shape.
Place the top strainer on the noodles, pressing carefully to shape up a basket. Hold both strainers and slowly dip in the hot oil for frying.
Tip:- As soon as you dip the strainer in the hot oil the oil will splash. Pull up the strainer and let oil settle back. Again dip it and after few seconds again pull up. Do this 2 to 3 times until the noodles starts frying by itself. Let the noodles fry to crispy brown.
Once the noodles are crispy brown remove the strainers carefully pull up the top strainer. Let the noodles cool then remove the noodle basket.
Fill in with choice of fillings and Enjoy!
