Green Dal Vada

250 gms Green Moong Dal
2 big Green chillies
3-4 garlic cloves
1 tsp Grated Ginger
1 big Onion
1 tsp Jeera
Salt as per Taste
Oil to fry

METHOD

Wash and soak the dal for 5-6 hrs. Then drain the excess water. Along with that water the dals skin will be separated and will also be washed out. Rinse the dal 2 to 3 time to drain out the dal skin as much as possible.
Grind the drained dal with onion, green chilles, garlic, ginger, jeera and salt as per taste into a fine thick smooth paste.
Keep the ground paste aside for an hour. Meanwhile heat oil for deep frying. Once the oil is heated, simmer the heat and drop small scoops of moong paste in the oil not over crowding the oil. Fry evenly until golden crispy, remove in a oil absorbent paper and enjoy with green chutney, ketchup as a tea time snack. Enjoy!!

Note: You can use Whole moong beans too for this recipe.
